37th HASSAN II TROPHY
The Hassan II Golf Trophy Association and the European PGA held this great event in Morocco
on Tuesday, March 18 thru Sunday, March 21, 2010. This prestigious event has now been added to the European
PGA Golf calendar of events for 2010 - 11 - 12.
The Hassan II Trophy was played Mar 16-21 in Rabat at the Royal Golf Dar es-Salam
Red and Blue Courses. The Pro-Am format will be one professional and one amateur teams playing both courses on Thursday
and Friday. The leading 65 professionals and those tied for 65th will play the remaining 36 holes over the Red course
on Saturday and Sunday.
The European Ladies Tour will move the HRH Princess Lalla Meryem Cup over to the Royal
Golf Mohammedia course and will they will play during the same week as the men, with an 18 hole Pro-Am bing held on Saturday.
Anja Monke won the Princess Lalla Cup on Saturday by 1 stroke over Carin Koch.
On Saturday, there was an additonal event of the 15 male and female professional
golfers from each Tour who missed the cut during the week, will play together in a Friendship Pro-Am Saturday on the
Blue Course at Royal Dar es-Salem.
In 2010, the mens winner was, Rhys Davies from Edinburgh, 25 under
par, won by 2 strokes over Louis Oosthuizen, with a group bunched at 18 under par behind them.
The event which was on the Golf Channel March 16-21, 2010, so you should be able to watch
the replays. In 2011 we are still working on a package to take a group over, we will post the information as we get
it organized.
As you may know by now, Louis Oosthuizen just won the Open at St. Andrews on July 18,
with a dramatic display of ball control, with a 19 under par, and 7 strokes ahead of the best players in the world.

Toshiba Senior Classic
March 1-7, 2010
The 2010 Tournament was a another success, with mixed weather this year on a beautiful
Friday, a rain delayed Saturday and a windy Sunday. This years tournament set a record
of 25,000 visitors Friday, the most on any Friday in the history of the Toshiba Classic and raised over 900 Thousand dollars
for charity again, it was a great week and weekend for all.
In his rookie year on the Senior Tour, Freddie Couples won the event with a 18-under-par 195,
giving him a 4 shot victory over Ronnie Black and only 1 shot off of Jay Haas' record set here 3 years ago. It was his
2nd win in the last 3 events on the Senior PGA Tour.
Stop by our booth next year, on your way through the entry tent, to the beautiful Newport
Beach Country Club and the Toshiba Senior Classic Golf Tournament. That will be our 7th year supporting this great event
